  • **Always Maintain High Luminance Contrast:** The foreground pattern should be significantly darker than the background. Dark charcoal or navy on a white or cream background delivers optimal scanner reliability.
  • **Limit Logo Dimensions to Under 25% of Total Width:** Keep your central logo proportionally balanced so it does not occlude corner finder patterns.
  • **Leave an Adequate "Quiet Zone" Margin:** Ensure a border margin equal to at least 2 to 4 matrix module widths around the outer edge of the code.
  • **Test Across Multiple Phone Models Before Printing:** Test scans under various lighting angles with both iOS and Android default camera applications.
  • **Use Clean, Shortened URLs:** The less text encoded in a QR code, the simpler and larger its pixel modules will be, resulting in faster and more distant scanning.
